What is a clinical manifestation of Autism?

Impairments in social interaction are a core feature of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and represent a significant clinical manifestation of the condition. Hyperactive behavior can also occur in individuals with autism but is more commonly associated with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) rather than being a defining trait of autism itself. A consistent enthusiasm for group activities typically describes behavior that is more aligned with social engagement, which is counter to the challenges that individuals with autism face in social settings.
